18.5 x 16" gouache on illustration board.
I've been meaning to document the work-in-progress for some time now; I managed to keep a camera around for the making of this one. I don't necessarily use any fancy techniques, but I do like watching the pieces grow. Gratuitous progress shots are after the jump.
Ooh I really love this one. The guts-ball is so luminous.
I must try frisket some time.
