Plenty of pots cookin' on the fire right now, none of which are completely boiled-- this is one of them.

I'm having particular fun with this fellow... the background "alps" are meant to be those funny bad murals in zoo enclosures (I'm looking at you, Elephant House at the National Zoo).  This fellow has a couple more rounds of shading/hair-ing to go through yet, he's still a bit pale.

Alas, within mere hours I have to bid adieu to A Brief History from the coast opposite-- thanks to all that made the show such a smash, and for taking the time to come through and take a gander.  If you didn't get a chance to see it, Thinkspace will be open today; otherwise, the pieces will be up here.
